Barry Bryant, EdS, LMFT, RPT
Hold on Pediatric practice – accepting 18+ only at this time
My name is Barry Bryant, I am a child and adolescent play therapist at The Transformation Center in Dayton, Tenn. As a play therapist, I provide comprehensive treatment to children who have experienced various types of traumas in their life. I work with both child and family to aide in the healing process.
As a Christian, a father and grandfather, I have great joy in helping children recover from their pain and suffering. As I come along beside them, I offer compassion and empathy as we work through their difficult time. I look for how I can provide a way for their trauma to have a voice and then process that trauma in a way that is meaningful and brings about healing.
I graduated Liberty University in 2014 with a MA in Human Services, in 2018 with an MA in Marriage Family therapy and 2025 with an advanced degree as an Education Specialist in Community Care and Traumatology. I also have two post graduate continuing education certificates one in trauma from The University of Tennessee and one from NYU in Advanced Assessment and Diagnosis. I have over 200 hours training in play therapy, and I am a Registered Play Therapist. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) working with children and I hold a certification as an Autism Specialist.
When I am not working, I enjoy camping with my family and pet. I also enjoy traveling as often as I can and spending quality time with all my family. I look forward to helping you and your family should the need arise.
